Background:

I hold this piece dear to my heart because I am able to re-configure these casual works of photography, taken before my birth, or shortly after, into a fully fleshed art piece, making the focal point images taken by those who would never consider themselves to be an artist; and most of all bridging the gaze of mine and my mother’s.

Eternal September
December 2025

Background:

This book stands as an exploration of cross-stitch and crotchet as a feminist practice. It is a reimagining of a domestic labor that simultaneously exists as a creative form of storytelling. Craft can not only mend materials, but can cultivate a space in which culture, ornamentation, and narrative can exist.
